Ingredients:

  • 1 Cajun Spicy Gumbo/Gravy Mix 3 oz. bag (or 1/2 cup if you have a bucket!)
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Quart of Water (Less water for a thicker gravy)
  • 1 lb. Ground Meat
  • 1 egg
  • Dam Good Stuff
  • 1/4 cup of Bread crumbs

Gravy Instructions:

  1. Cut onion into slices. add about 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil to the pot and cook down the onions.
  2. Add 1 quarts of water to the pot and stir in Cajun Spicy Gumbo Gravy Mix. Cook on low, stirring frequently.
  3. Let the gravy come to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and cook for about 30 minutes. The longer it cooks, the darker it gets!
  4. Serve over hamburger steaks and mashed potatoes! Enjoy!

Hamburger Instructions:

  1. While the gravy is cooking, place the ground meat into a large bowl and add your egg, bread crumbs, and seasonings (We highly recommend Dam Good Stuff).
  2. Section the patties into 4-5 round patties.
  3. In your skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium high heat. Cook your patties for about 7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
